Tech Logic's Hi-IQ Book Placer Systems help you get books where they need to be. Our placer systems are designed to check the books in, and then sort them onto book trucks. All your staff members have to do is replace the full book truck with an empty one, then wheel the truck to the shelves. The system can use barcode or RFID tags, and is smart enough to know whether or not either is a valid tag. The system recognizes, tracks, and sorts the books by collection code, so they're shelf-ready. The Hi-IQ Placer Systems will place exceptions in bins (for example, books on hold) for staff review.
The Tilter Placer: A Smooth Mover
Automatic Cart Tilters are an example of the well-designed components of Tech Logic's AMH machines. Automatic Cart Tilters elevate library carts (trucks) at a selected angle relative to an automatic book placer. The book placer is then positioned adjacent to a selected shelf of the cart, where it automatically pushes a library item onto the shelf. The tilter holds the cart at an angle that causes the books to lie tightly against each other to form a neat stack that maximizes the cart's useable space.
