  • Annette Harwood MurphyAnnette Harwood Murphy, CEO
    Annette Harwood Murphy is the CEO of Tech Logic. She is also co-founder, President/CEO, and Chairman of the Board of The Library Corporation in West Virginia, which holds majority stock shares in Tech Logic.

    Mrs. Murphy has guided The Library Corporation's strategic planning, fiscal operations, and administration since 1975. Under her stewardship, The Library Corporation (TLC) has become an international company serving thousands of libraries worldwide with an array of technologically advanced automation solutions. In addition to Tech Logic, TLC's corporate family includes CARL Corporation in Denver, Colorado (acquired in 2000).

    TLC is built on the principles of honesty and integrity, and values its relationships with its library customers. This tradition will continue with Tech Logic as it partners with and creates long-term relationships with the library community.

    Mrs. Murphy's professional background is in finance, software development, and systems analysis. She worked as a systems analyst and consultant in the development of accounting and office procedures. Mrs. Murphy pursued studies at the University of Georgia in Atlanta and Dekalb College in Decatur, Georgia, in systems analysis.

    Mrs. Murphy serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Old Charles Town Library and a member of the Board of Directors of the Shepherd University Foundation. She is also a member of the Shenandoah Museum Council.

    Gary KirkGary Kirk, Executive Director, Vice President
    Gary Kirk assumed executive responsibility for Tech Logic in April 2005 after holding several senior management roles at TLC. He joined TLC in 1986 and has 19 years of experience managing the company's general operations sales and marketing efforts. He has also served as Director of TLC's Denver operations. Most recently he has been responsible for developing business partnerships and alliances, as well as directing TLC's marketing efforts while serving as Senior Vice President. Mr. Kirk studied business administration and marketing at Georgia State University and Auburn University.

    Jim NelsonJim Nelson, Director of Operations
    Jim Nelson has over 15 years of experience in management and engineering in the automation industry. Before accepting his current position at Tech Logic, Mr. Nelson managed the company's engineering group. Before joining Tech Logic, he worked as an Automation Product Manager and Controls Engineer. Mr. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Cloud State University (MN).

    Calvin WhittingtonCalvin Whittington, Director of Finance and Administration
    Calvin Whittington is the Director of Finance and Administration at Tech Logic. Mr. Whittington has a Master of Business Administration from Shenandoah University and has been controller of TLC since joining the company in 1987. There, he oversees budgeting, cost management, general accounting, data processing, inventory control, and purchasing.

    Larry KopacekLarry Kopacek, Manufacturing Manager
    Larry Kopacek joined Tech Logic as Manufacturing Manager in 2005, overseeing the manufacturing end of Tech Logic's AMH systems and other products. He has over 27 years in manufacturing management, with a focus on promoting quality and productivity. Mr. Kopacek brings a wealth of experience to Tech Logic, with not only management experience, but high-level skills in machining, assembly, and inventory control.

    • Greig Eichhorst, Managerial AccountantGreig Eichhorst, Managerial Accountant
      Greig Eichhorst brings more than a quarter-century of financial/cost accounting experience to Tech Logic. His extensive background includes serving as a controller or cost manager for Advertising Unlimited Inc. in Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Red Wing, Minn.; Ethel M Chocolates and Precision Concrete, both in Las Vegas; and Norwood Promotional Products Inc. in Red Wing, Minn. Mr. Eichhorst has served Tech Logic since January 2007 and is a graduate of Mankato State University, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance with a minor in computer science.

      Jack Gray, Software Development ManagerJack Gray, Software Development Manager
      Jack Gray joined Tech Logic in 2006 and served as a developer for two years before advancing to his current position. As Software Development Manager, Mr. Gray oversees Tech Logic's development group on new, ongoing, and research and development projects, the testing phase of product development, and select server installations. He earned the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer designation upon completion of the computer programming track at KRS Computer and Business School. Mr. Gray says his proudest achievement was earning a "#1 Dad" pin from his youngest daughter.

      Heidi Weippert, Customer Care ManagerHeidi Weippert, Customer Care Manager
      Heidi Weippert joined Tech Logic as Customer Care Manager in 2008, bringing more than 16 years experience in customer service operations and management in a wide variety of industries. Ms. Weippert's responsibilities include leading and managing Tech Logic's Customer Care team and positioning the department for success while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Prior to coming to Tech Logic, she worked for a leading news distribution company as part of its management team, overseeing the customer service and product demonstration divisions. Ms. Weippert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.

      Mike Robertson, Engineering ManagerMike Robertson, Engineering Manager
      Mike Robertson is responsible for Tech Logic's automation design and development functions. Among his numerous duties, he oversees and performs activities required to conceptualize, design, install, and manage the implementation and support of Tech Logic's RFID and automation applications while supervising the company's team of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers. Mr. Robertson joined Tech Logic in 2009 after serving nearly 20 years as an electrical engineer or automation manager for an automotive parts supply manufacturing company and a multinational food packaging firm. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from North Dakota State University.
