Tech Logic Partners with the Kingsley Company
Kingsley now a Tech Logic reseller
White Bear Lake, MN - June 18, 2008 - The Kingsley Company has become the first authorized distributor of Tech Logic's QuickSort library sorting system.
QuickSort is a new system designed and manufactured by Tech Logic. It's a compact, turnkey system with all the advantages of a larger sorting system - without the cost. QuickSort functions 24/7 and will process up to 2,000 books per hour. It includes a Hands-Free Book Drop with RFID or barcode checkin, and also, a camera, speaker, and receipt printer. From the book drop, QuickSort sorts and conveys items by location into economical bins or plastic library totes. QuickSort is available in three or five bin configurations, and operates using standard 120 volt power.
The Kingsley Company is the oldest and largest manufacturer of library returns and carts in the world. The company, based in Pomona, CA, has served libraries for over 45 years. In 2003, Kingsley reinvented the curbside return, creating a complete line that offers superior security for library collections. Kingsley offers a variety of products to assist library sorting operations.
The new partnership with Tech Logic allows Kingsley to further meet libraries' needs by offering a full-fledged automated sorting system. Libraries can use existing or future Kingsley products in conjunction with QuickSort.
"This partnership is exciting because it matches Kingsley's premier position in the library returns market with the most powerful and trusted brands for sorters and conveyors on the market," Murray Morgan, Kingsley Company President, said. "It will result in libraries of all sizes having better access to, and knowledge of, time and labor saving automation."
"We are proud and excited to form this partnership with Kingsley. Their reputation for quality products and their vast network of distributors, matched with Tech Logic's reputation for innovative engineering and unequaled quality are the perfect match for a successful relationship," remarked Gary Kirk, Tech Logic Executive Director.
