Tech Logic's self-checkout combo stations (U.S. Patent 6,994,252), for example, allow staff members to easily assist a patron if a block occurs - without leaving the circulation desk. With our unique Personal Payment System (PPS), patrons can pay fines and fees during self-checkout, using either the optional Smart Card with stored cash value, using cash, or by the association of the patron's library card number to an account on your library's servers.
Secure Media Checkout
Tech Logic’s CircIT Media Passport (Patent Pending) protects your investments and streamline the patron checkout experience. Media Passport stops theft of media items like CDs and DVDs. Using Kwik-CaseTM security cases and RFID, the item information is logged at checkout. Media Passport confirms the correct item before unlocking the case.
