Personal Payment System: Real Self-Service
Tech Logic's Self Check-Out Personal Payment System enables patrons to pay fines and fees during check-out using a variety of payment methods.
The Personal Payment System includes:
- Patron Card Reader
- Credit/Debit Card Swipe
- Dollar Bill Acceptor
- Coin Acceptor with Change Return
- Large Capacity Receipt Printer
Easy Maintenance
The Personal Payment System is designed to install flush to your circulation counter. It is mounted on hydraulic shocks to provide easy access for maintenance. The Personal Payment System allows patrons to transact their items at their own convenience.
Patron Card Imager
Patrons place their library cards on the Personal Payment System imager, and the system reads the barcode on the library card. Since patrons do not place their cards in a machine, there are fewer moving parts to maintain. The imager eliminates the problem of cards becoming jammed in the card reader.

For library cards with barcodes, your library can add patron card imaging as a stand-alone feature. The patron card imager also works great with key fob style library cards.
Easy to Use
CircIT 2010 Self Check-Out software notifies a patron if they have fines or associated fees. The patron can pay the fine with cash, credit, optional Smart Card with stored cash value, or by associating the patron's library card number to an account on your library's servers.
Tech Logic's Personal Payment System is the smart solution that allows patrons to complete financial transactions quickly.
In-Desk Patron Card Readers with Receipt Printers
Patron Card Imager
The Patron Card Imager is the latest innovation in card reading technology. It is accurate, so your staff can spend more time doing library work and less time resolving self check-out issues. A patron places the library card on the glass and the system reads the card's barcode. It can read conventional cards and key fob style library cards. Since patrons do not place their cards in a machine, there are fewer moving parts to maintain, and cards do not jam in the card reader.
Grab and Hold Reader
Patrons can use the Grab and Hold card reader and combination printer to scan library cards and print receipts. A patron simply slides the card into the card slot and the system reads the card's barcode.
Both Systems Offer Easy Receipt Printer Access
Two locks on top open the unit and hydraulic struts lift the printer above the countertop. This positions the unit at an ergonomically correct height for staff to change receipt paper.
