Team Member Spotlight Ken Fischer
This year marks Ken Fisher’s 24th year as a Field Service-Installer with Tech Logic. It’s safe to say that Ken has been to most of Tech Logic’s customer libraries to install or perform preventive maintenance checkups for totalAMH systems. Over these years, he counts many of the contacts at customer libraries as personal friends. “Library staff are always friendly and easy to work with,” he says. “It’s a good day when I’m visiting libraries.”
What brought you to Tech Logic?
Ken credits inheriting his skills as a mechanic from his Dad and he brought them to the library world in 2001. Mark Frich, his next-door neighbor at the time, was one of the original founders of Tech Logic and convinced Ken to come work for his young company. Since then, Ken has accumulated over 600,000 frequent flyer miles traveling to work in libraries in all but six states.
How would you summarize the most powerful ways Tech Logic solutions help the libraries you work with?
Our customers love their totalAMH and how it helps streamline their operations. They know that our equipment is reliable and built to keep on working for decades. Ken not only installs Tech Logic equipment, but he also ensures its reliability when he performs on-site preventive maintenance visits. Because of the longevity of Tech Logic equipment, he has revisited customer libraries many times over the years.

Ken credits his Tech Logic co-workers for making his job enjoyable. “The engineers support the Field Service-Installers and listen to their design input to make improvements.” He noted. “Our AMH just gets better and better.”
In his personal life, Ken has been married to Laura for 35 years and is the proud father of one daughter, Donna. When he’s at home, he enjoys camping, being outdoors, and traveling.
