Team Member Spotlight: Kendra Schuster

Kendra Schuster is the newest addition to the Marketing Team at Tech Logic, joining as the Marketing/Sales Support Coordinator (MSSC). In this role, Kendra drives the successful execution of tradeshows and sales proposals while supporting key initiatives across the organization. She works closely with Tech Logic product experts, collaborates across teams, and coordinates the logistics that help keep projects and events running smoothly.

Kendra recently graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a bachelor's degree in marketing and a certificate in business analytics. During her time at MSU, she embraced opportunities both inside and outside the classroom, serving as an Advertising Sales Manager at The MSU Reporter while actively participating in organizations centered on marketing, professional sales, and leadership development. With a strong blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and genuine curiosity, Kendra brings an energetic and thoughtful approach to communication and collaboration.

To help us get to know Kendra, we asked her a few questions:

How would you describe yourself to a stranger?

I’d say I’m kind of a mix of an introvert and an extrovert. I usually take a bit to warm up in new settings, but, once I do, I’m pretty talkative and enjoy connecting with people. I’m also down-to-earth and like to go with the flow. I have a background in sales and used to be a soccer goalie for eight years, so I’ve learned to stay calm under pressure and not let much throw me off. I’m naturally curious and tend to ask a lot of questions because I enjoy understanding things beyond the surface. In general, I try to bring a good balance of energy, humor, and focus depending on the situation.

What attracted you to working at Tech Logic?

What initially attracted me to Tech Logic was a combination of curiosity, the team dynamic, and the company’s people-first mindset. In high school, I worked seasonally at Mackin Educational Resources processing and labeling books, and I always found myself wondering what happened to the books afterward. Learning about Tech Logic’s automation solutions and its role in supporting libraries really sparked my interest and connected back to that experience. I was also drawn to the collaborative, tight-knit team environment. Coming from both a sales background and previous manufacturing marketing experience at Horton Inc., I’ve enjoyed working in relationship-focused and operationally driven environments. It’s rewarding to work for a company that helps librarians spend more time building connections within their community!

How does your previous work experience influence/enhance the work you do at Tech Logic?

My previous experiences have given me a blend of business analytics, marketing, and sales knowledge that I’m excited to bring into this role. As a recent graduate, I bring a strong willingness to learn, as this is my first full-time role after college. At The MSU Reporter, the student newspaper at MSU Mankato, I managed the intake, communication, scheduling, and delivery of marketing materials while balancing tight deadlines. It helped me stay organized, work with different stakeholders and turn client needs into clear deliverables—skills that connect closely to supporting RFPs, RFIs, and other sales documentation in the MSSC role. My marketing internship at Horton, Inc. built on that experience through hands-on work with campaign analysis, dashboard reporting, and social content creation within brand standards which helped me better understand how to work with data in a practical setting and apply it to support marketing decisions.

Outside of work, what would you like to share about yourself?

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, my twin sister, my friends, and my boyfriend of five years. I’m a huge Minnesota sports fan and especially enjoy watching the Vikings, Wild, and Timberwolves, and I’m still waiting (hopefully not forever) to witness a championship in my lifetime. When I get the chance, I enjoy traveling and attending concerts, and I’m usually the person taking way too many photos while I’m at it. To unwind, I play video games, listen to music, or watch cooking shows on Food Network, even though I’ll admit I’m not much of a chef myself.

Tech Logic connects libraries with their communities through dynamic, innovative, and efficient workflow technologies—delivering unparalleled service and outstanding patron experience. Since 1997, we have worked exclusively with libraries to develop solutions that empower library patrons and staff.
