Team Member Spotlight: Phil Pilon

As a Customer Care Technician at Tech Logic, Phil collaborates with libraries daily to ensure the optimal functioning of Tech Logic solutions. Phil has been with Tech Logic for 2.5 years now, and he has brought a great deal of joy to both Tech Logic staff and customers. He is known for bringing snacks and treats to share with the office staff.  He is also known for his humorous banter and lighthearted congeniality. Customers say that Phil is “supportive, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile.”

To help us get to know Phil more, we asked him a few questions:

What brought you to Tech Logic?
I love working with technology!

Could you describe your role at Tech Logic?
The boring answer is that I mainly help install, configure, and maintain your Tech-Logic software. With that said, I love to help out with whatever I can and make sure you are getting the most out of your Tech Logic products and services.

What excites you most about the library industry?
Every library is unique and has different needs. It’s fun and exciting to find creative solutions to match those needs.

What do you like most about working for Tech Logic?
Giving back to the libraries that do so much for our communities. I also like the fact that Tech Logic is a small company. If I need help, I can just walk over to that person's desk, and they are happy to help me.

In your opinion, what are some of the most impactful and unique ways that Tech Logic’s services and solutions empower libraries?
Our products and services save library staff time so they can have more meaningful interactions with their patrons.

Outside of work, what would you like to share about yourself?
I’m pretty boring outside of work. I like playing video games with my friends, playing fetch with my dog, and complaining about the weather here in Minnesota.
