2026 ALA Annual Conference

We loved seeing you at the 2026 ALA Annual Conference! We brought big developments to show off and we enjoyed connecting at the booth with over 300 passionate library people. Thank you for all you do to help patrons in your community!

Booth visitors unlocked prizes from Tech Logic's new selfCIRC LOCKER hardware

Our new selfCIRC LOCKER hardware brings upgraded construction, simplified installation and maintenance, and new optional add-ons, all while keeping our intuitive, ILS-integrated software workflow. Booth visitors spun our prize wheel for their blue, white, or gold library card. Then, they scanned their card at the selfCIRC LOCKER to pick up their "hold," aka, their prize!

Our selfCIRC LOCKER system keeps the library’s ILS in charge—everything from rules, to item statuses, to item checkout, to patron due dates, to notifications. The selfCIRC LOCKER simply integrates with the library’s ILS as an additional holds pickup location within the catalog. Our new hardware, built in partnership with Smarte Carte, Inc., is factory-designed for robust, long-lasting use both indoors and outdoors.

We're thrilled to announce a new partnership between Tech Logic Corporation and Smarte Carte, Inc! With this partnership, Tech Logic and Smarte Carte have developed the strongest software/hardware combination in the industry for library staff and patrons. Check out the story!

Showcasing Tech Logic’s new self-check experience

Tech Logic’s “selfCIRC” family is expanding! At the booth, we got to show visitors our new self-check kiosk and our streamlined self-check software experience.

Our new kiosk, selfCIRC FOCUS, is for libraries who want a streamlined, modern aesthetic that centers around robust, flexible UX. This is perfect timing because our team has also been streamlining Tech Logic’s circIT SUITE self-check software.

Our AMH show machine, Rosie, was back for more

We brought our automated material handling (AMH) system to the show floor at ALA in order to show an example of how your totalAMH system can work for your space.

As some of you know, we've affectionately chosen the name "Rosie" for this AMH system. Rosie resembles a caterpillar and, like most caterpillars, this caterpillar's favorite is to eat as much as she can, as fast as she can. All throughout ALA, Rosie munched on library materials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Thanks for feeding Rosie library items by the handful! Because our totalAMH systems require no patron or staff interface (folks can simply drop items and go) Rosie has more room to dine on her favorite literature.

Streamline your workflow and extend your reach

Tech Logic provides solutions that automate library workflows, so librarians can focus less on repetitive tasks and more on community engagement. We'd love to talk with you about your current workflow and answer any questions you have about library technology. Want to learn more about what we've been working on? Let us know!
