We showcasedTech Logic’s new self-check experience

Tech Logic’s “selfCIRC” family is expanding! Visitors to booth #947 got a sneak peek at our new self-check kiosk and our streamlined self-check software experience.

Our new kiosk, selfCIRC FOCUS, is for libraries who want a streamlined, modern aesthetic that centers around robust, flexible UX. This is perfect timing because our team has also been streamlining Tech Logic’s circIT SUITE self-check software.

"Do our shelves match our catalog?" — Restoring ILS accuracy with RFID

Whether you’re a public, school, academic, or special library—ALL libraries know the battle for ILS accuracy. Are we doomed forever to repetitive searches and tedious lists? To find out, attendees joined our Principal Librarian/Strategist Gretchen Freeman, TLC's Steve Mackey, and Dr. Melissa Frost from Rochester City School District at ALA's Tech Talk Stage (booth #248). This session centered around the ways in which RFID helps libraries remove exception items immediately from the stacks, accomplish lightning-fast inventory, and more.

Our AMH show machine, Rosie, was back for more

We brought our automated material handling (AMH) system to the show floor at ALA 2025 in order to show an example of how your totalAMH system can work for your space.

As some of you know, we've affectionately chosen the name "Rosie" for this AMH system. Rosie resembles a caterpillar and, like most caterpillars, this caterpillar's favorite is to eat as much as she can, as fast as she can. All throughout ALA weekend, Rosie will be sorting library materials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Big thanks to those who fed Rosie a delicious stack of library items. Because our totalAMH systems require no patron or staff interface (folks can simply drop items and go) Rosie has more room to dine on her favorite literature!

We brought our selfCIRC LOCKERS and other library tech

We had our holds pickup lockers at the booth, as well as our self-checkout systems, security gates, shelf management system, and web-based central management portal.
