Tech Logic Office Renovation
Tech Logic’s headquarters in Oakdale, MN recently received an upgrade! After years of growth and change, Tech Logic leadership recognized the need for a space that truly reflects the progress of the company and supports where Tech Logic is headed in the future. Guided by our People First motto, the renovation was designed to empower Tech Logic employees with the space and tools they need to do their best work, feel valued, and continue growing in their roles. More than an update to the building, this renovation reflects our company’s commitment to one another, our culture, and the customers we serve every day.
Why did we decide to renovate? What goals guided the project?
Tech Logic has been located at 835 Hale Ave in Oakdale since the fall of 2016, with no changes to the office layout since then. Over the years, we’ve seen company growth, rapid changes in the library industry, and major advancements in technology both for Tech Logic and for our customers. This renovation was an opportunity to better align these three elements—our growth, the evolving industry, and available technology—into a space that supports how we work today.
Tim Granquist, Tech Logic’s Chief Operating Officer, said, “Culture was the main driver for the renovation. Not because we thought a new coat of paint or different office layout would make the culture changes needed, but because we realized that our previous layout did not provide the space and privacy required.” Tech Logic leadership wanted to empower team members through their daily environment.
Part of the new renovation is a colorful wall mural at the entrance to the office that includes the company's core values: Integrity, Collaboration, Empathy, Accountability, and Insight.

How does the new space support Tech Logic staff?
The renovation provides an added level of privacy with an additional conference room, more spacious and private office cubes, height-adjustable desks for sitting or standing, and individual offices for manufacturing and purchasing managers.

Investments like this new Product Resource Room help equip our products and services for BIG growth in the coming years.
The Product Resource Room includes an internal AMH system with full induction through the wall. Tech Logic products are currently being organized in the room for research/development, training, and resource recording. Soon, it’ll be full of products and buzzing with activity! What feedback have we heard since moving in?
While we don’t have many customer visits to HQ, we do get some, and we want to make those experiences as impactful as possible. Tim Granquist said, “We want our customers to know just how invested we are in them and their workflows.”
Our General Manager, Tracie Hanson, is the first to greet those who enter the office. She said, “The feedback on the renovation has been very positive.” From staff members and visitors, she has heard comments like:
- “It’s nice to see the company investing back into the business and employees.”
- “It’s so nice to know what you do immediately when you walk in the door.”
- “The mural really tells your story.”
- “It’s bright and welcoming.”
How does this space prepare Tech Logic for what’s next?
Our recent building renovation has been a meaningful investment in both our people and the work we do. The updated space creates a more welcoming, comfortable environment for employees and visitors while improving functionality, flow, and collaboration across teams. With modernized work areas, improved technology, and thoughtful design choices, the renovation supports productivity, creativity, and day-to-day efficiency. Most importantly, it reflects our commitment to caring for our team and creating a space that helps us serve our customers even better.
A huge shoutout to everyone involved in shaping the vision, planning, and execution of this renovation. Tracie Hanson played a huge role in the day-to-day decisions and planning, as well as Tim Granquist, and members of the Customer Care Team. Also, thank you to our Graphic Designer, Tara Jenkins with Tara Jenkins Designs, who designed our beautiful wall mural.
